To hold a recall election is an integral part of villagers’autonomy, but the inherent limitations of this system make it unable to display its own value. To exercise the right of recall autonomously places emphasis on autonomy, which advocates that villagers have the right to propose and complete the bill for recalling village officials without others’intervention. However, with the resistance coming from all aspects it is still difficult for villagers to exercise their rights of recall because of the control of the township government under the macro pressure system and complicated interest factors existing in villages. Therefore, the autonomous right of recall can be perfected through clarifying the motion and the main elements of the recall, defining the specific procedure and establishing the supervision and the safeguard mechanism.
