This paper traces the developmental process of ideological and political education in professional career theory from the philosophy of knowledge to existentialism philosophy and analyzes the background that social needs of globalization and diversification are the realistic basis of ideological and political education in professional career.From the following 4 aspects ,this paper points out that professional career is the inner motivation of the ideological and political education:professional career is the practical bearing and value judgment of ideological and political education.Professional career also provides the stage to ideological and political education and reflects the vital signs of ideological and political education.Therefore,in the guidance of employment for college students,it is critical to change the way of thinking,build educational atmosphere and innovate educational methods so that existential philosophy,common ideal,dialectical thinking and development association view can be integrated into ideological and political education so as to strengthen the effect of ideological and political education teaching.
