Abstract:Through the analysis of the external macro-conditions and internal micro-mechanisms of peasants’ urbanization path in the eastern coastal developed areas, the social law of urbanization can be presented more completely, and the current relevant theories and urbanization policies can be reflected.Different from the incomplete urbanization of peasant families in the rural areas of the central and western regions, peasants in the developed areas along the eastern coast tend to be completely urbanized.Field surveys in several developed areas show that the local labor market established on the basis of developed industrialization is the premise of peasants’ urbanization, characterized by abundant employment opportunities, sufficient employment time and low employment cost.As far as family strategy is concerned, peasant families transform the advantages of local labor market into the ability of family development to integrate into the city by improving human capital, full employment of families and family marriage links,so as to achieve complete urbanization.
