The endogenous development of rural women directly influences the trajectory and outcomes of rural economic and social progress. Using an integrated “capability-embeddedness” analytical framework， this study examines the operational mechanisms and conditional factors through which social work promotes rural women’s neo-endogenous development. The findings reveal that， from a dynamic perspective， social work embeds emotions into daily life to cultivate rural women’s intrinsic motivation for development， embeds resources into women’s economic organizations to enable efficient resource transformation， embeds relationships into cooperation networks to provide momentum for women’s sustainable development， and embeds values into public contexts to enhance women’s subjectivity in production. Collectively， these mechanisms construct a “diffusive embeddedness” pathway， establishing a comprehensive endogenous development ability system for rural women. From a static perspective， the sustainable development requires cultural sensitivity， professionalism， and daily elements as internal supports. Specifically， cultural sensitivity helps social work gain “situational legitimacy” for its service， professionalism enhances the utilization and transformation efficiency of external resources under innovative ideas， sociality ensures that social work avoids excessive individualization in practice， and daily elements create a life-oriented path for rural women’s participation in rural politics.
