As one of the essential links of the teaching process,examination is a fundamental way to evaluate learning and teaching effects,thus it has a profound influence on talent training.According to our practice of promoting the reform of assessment methods in the calculus teaching,this article analyzes many inadequacies of the examination content and testing methods in the test-oriented educational system.In the reform of the test way,this paper makes many suggestions,such as establishing the test management mechanism,setting up the examination content and assessment criteria aiming at the ability and quality of the students,making the test methods and forms various so as to make the constitution of the examination results diversified,making the test types diverse to increase the functionality,changing the concepts of the rating and reforming the scoring methods,improving the separation system of teaching and testing,etc.
