Univeristy is the place in which talents are cultivated and talent needs from society are diversified, multi- sized and multi- leveled. Therefore, university- running models should also be diversified. However, in the process of developing China’s higher education, the university- running model is quite unitary due to the ideology of demanding perfection, which has not only caused structural imbalance in China’s university functions but also produced kinds of problems in unversities. Consequently, it is urgent to conceive of such problems and make some adjustment so that universities in China will develop in normal, orderly and diversified ways.
