The main forms of urbanization in Jiaxing in Zhejiang consist of the land transfer to weaken the dependence of farmers on the land preference,the rehabilitation to isolate villagers from their traditional space contact in villages,the building of social communities to deconstruct the traditional interpersonal relationship and the introduction of community service to foster residents’ city awareness.However,the process of urbanization nurtures the community protectionism,the advent and expansion of community organizations and the reproduction of the fatherly complex,which implies that the “unit society” still exists and affects the mass in the mainland.Thus,one of the premises for the construction of the new community management forms and system should be accepting the phenomena above.
