Based on objective understanding of China’s macro-economy,this paper analyzes the serious consequences of too high weight of food prices in the constitution of CPI in China and points out that reducing the weight of food prices in CPI,perfecting the statistic structure of CPI and publishing CPI index and core CPI index could effectively avoid the misunderstanding caused by macro-policy.This paper finally proposes several suggestions on how to guarantee the long,stable and healthy development of China’s agriculture,such as correctly understaning the price fluctuation of agricultural products and making steady and comprehensive agricultural regulating policies.
