With the proposal and increasingly deep exploration of new-type urbanization,rural in-situ urbanization has become a hot research topic both in theory and policy.This paper puts forward the concept of rural in-situ urbanization on the basis of previous research,and proposes several suggestions based on the problems in the process of in-situ urbanization through the investigation of four typical rural areas in Hubei Province.Firstly,rural in-situ urbanization should be pushed forward in the orderly way; secondly,rural enterprises’ sustainable ability should be strengthened; thirdly,comparative advantage of rural employment should be improved; fourthly,reasonable investment and finance mechanism in rural construction should be established; fifthly, administrative authority of township government should be expanded and finally equation of contribution and enjoyment of resources should be established.
