In the process of urbanization,the problems of “disempowerment” and “empowerment” in ancient village tourism development is ubiquitous.Taking Y village in Hancheng city of Shaanxi Province as an example,using in depth interviews to conduct field investigations,the research shows that local villagers are disempowered in participation,profit attainment,giving advices and information acquisition in the process of local tourism development,which betrays the concept of sharing.To solve the problems above,the paper proposed to establish a reasonable profit distribution mechanism and an effective mechanism in decision making,and raise community residents’ cultural awareness for the all rounded development of community,so as to realize the goal of sharing fruits of development in ancient village tourism community
