Based on household survey data of 1965 farmers in 12 provinces and stochastic frontier model,this paper analyzes the effect of new agricultural management entities’ productive service on rice production technical efficiency.The result shows that proportion of sample farmers receiving new agricultural management entities’ productive services is 61%,among which participation proportion of seedling providing,land ploughing and mechanical harvesting are high.Receiving new agricultural management entities’ productive service has a significant positive effect on technical efficiency of rice farmers.Multi productive service processes have different effect on farmers’ technical efficiency of different sizes.Mechanical transplanting and field management services have significant positive effect on technical efficiency of less than 80 acres farmers.Services including seedling providing,land ploughing and mechanical transplanting have significant positive impact on technical efficiency of farmers with more than 80 acres of land.Therefore,it is necessary to promote mechanization services positively,strengthen mechanization technology integration and promote machinery applicability and suitability.Meanwhile,it is also important to adjust service items according to farmers’ production needs and conditions with different production areas and improve service quality like field management service.
