There are two approaches to study the roles of village cadres’ behavior:one is to study the name of how the village cadres should be,and the other is to study the reality of how the village cadres actually behave.The name and reality of village cadres in Zhao village experienced the change from integration to separation of diachronic evolution.After the reform and opening up,because there are some new requirements and expectations about village cadres,the inertia of historical change and the corresponding policies and institutional regulations provide the basis for the role of village cadres.The arranged type village cadres experienced name and reality fusion in a short time.With the appearance of huge profitable collective economy in the village,village cadres compete for village power with the factional struggle as the core and with the aim of making profits,which results in the loss of village collective economy and the loss of villagers.The name of village profitmaking cadres has seriously deviated from its reality.In order to reverse the deviation,the rectification mechanism with the core of the institutional governance was implemented.But it also led to the emergence of the role behavior of laissez-faire village cadres,which is another form of name and actual deviation.The village cadres are still not away from the dilemma of name and reality deviation.
