Abstract:The low-level e-commerce capability of agricultural products hinders the sustainable development and innovation of agricultural enterprises.Based on the theory of social materialism,this paper constructs a dimension model of e-commerce capability of third-order enterprises,discusses the connotation,formation mechanism and effect of e-commerce capability of agricultural products.The data of 316 enterprises were collected,and an empirical study was conducted by applying the content analysis,questionnaire survey and structural equation analysis.The results show that the ecommerce capability of agricultural products has three dimensions,namely managerial capability,technical capability and personnel capability,and the three interrelate with each other and have a common effect on the commercial capability of agricultural products.The scale developed in this study will provide firms with an operational and quantifiable tool for developing e-commerce capability of agricultural products.
