Abstract:Publicity,the core attribute of rural public space,provides support for the survival and development of the space,as well as principle and direction for its future development.The publicity of rural public space can be expounded from five aspects,namely public places with high accessibility,cooperative group activities,multi-inclusive space concepts,mixed social functions and value pursuit of public welfare sharing.However,in the transitional period,the development of rural public space is challenged by public dilemmas such as lack of accessibility,lack of public participation,loss of spatial development concepts,weakening of social functions,and aphasia of public issues,which imposes a negative impact on social integration and rural governance.In the new era of rural revitalization,the publicity of rural public space should be reshaped from three perspectives,namely co-construction,co-governance and sharing.
