Governance is the Foundation of the Party’s Governance and
Rejuvenation of the Country

Abstract One of the key focuses of the CPC to lead economic work is the governance of agricul⁃
tural and rural economy.On the basis of in-depth analysis of the context and connotation of the CPC’s ag⁃
ricultural and rural governance，this paper identifies several distinctive characteristics of Chinese-style ag⁃
ricultural and rural economic governance，which include：the epistemological characteristics of the close
connection between theory and practice，which is shaped under the leadership of the Party；the explora⁃
tion of a policy practice model that integrates national overall planning and grassroots innovation；and the
implementation of the system construction strategy that combines the socialist concept with History of
China’s historical tradition and current national conditions.Therefore，it is argued that Chinese-style agri⁃
cultural and rural economic governance serves as the foundation for the CPC to govern and prosper the
country.
